6.9-Whats the consensus?

I was about to try the update, but after reading around here the past few days, it looks like I should stay away. Is anyone loving it? I know that most ppl post here for problems rather than praise. Id love to hear some positive stuff about it. How about these 6.7 bugs-- Are they addressed in 6.9? --Clicks at end of regions when recording with ADC enabled -- Midi notes not being able to be deleted, moved,.. sticking, general midi instability --Input bug where tracks playing above a track disappear from playback when selecting Input on the fly --The kernel panic with ghostly audio loop in bkgrnd --Grayed out scroll bars after BTD Cant think of the others at the moment.. Anyway, whats the vote? Stay away or give it a try? MT

Well i've never experienced those bugs so i don't know if there fixed for you, but I can say it has some nice new navigation, selection and automation features.

So far so good. Lovin' it!

Happy so far, been using it for 3 days now. It crashed while closing/opening sessions in the first few hours, but it seems to run stable right now. My preferences dissapeared though. My sends where back to infinity when created and zoom toggle was medium again. And MIDI notes hang every now and then when a session is stopped, but this was also the case in the last few updates. I love the track selection option, something I wanted for a long time.

It is working very well for me too. No bugs, I hope that this version continue perfect forever .

Matt G - regarding your reported bugs: 1) We'll look into this. Can you give us specific info on your particular system? 2) As Jim Longo indicated, this operates as indicated. Are you sure you're holding down <cmd> after clicking and holding the automation point? 3) This is not a bug - this is due to a change in how the Mac OS handles Stationary Pads. Try it with TextEdit and you'll see the same behavior. This is also documented in the 'Read Me' that came with the 6.9 update. 4) We'll look into this as well. Can you give us specific steps to reproduce this problem?
