Finally back, feels like a freakin' eternity since I made this post! I want to start by saying, of course, use this script at your own risk, I will not be held liable for any potential damage to your computer, discs, Reaper, et cetera, so on and so forth... IF you were to use this script, then I would provide you with the following 'hypothetical' instructions, for good measure: 1. Ensure your Reaper is updated to the latest and greatest. (Script was formulated using 5.972) 2. Similarly, ensure SWS Extensions is both installed and updated (Version 2.10.0 was used for formulation of script) 3. Install juliansader's js_ReaScriptAPI Extension, follow the directions on his post at this link: 4. Install ReaPack from the website, using the installation guide (I don't think this is necessary for operation, but do it for your health). 5. Download all of this post's attached files. 6. Place Dfk Stretch Marker Marquee.lua in your 'Scripts' folder 7. Place toolbar_stretch_marker_marquee.png in your toolbar_icons folder. (REAPER>Data>toolbar_icons) 8. Load the script: Actions>Show Actions List...>ReaScript>Load[Dfk Stretch Marker Marquee.lua] 9. Import the Cycle Action: Extensions>Cycle Action Editor...>Import/Export>Import in section 'Main'...[S&M_Cyclactions_export.ini]>Apply 10. Load the new Toolbar Button: Options> Customize menus/toolbars...>Main toolbar>Import...[Stretch Marker Marquee.ReaperMenu] NOTE: The default setting for Reaper is that 'Time Selection' and 'Loop Selection' are linked. For the purpose of this script I recommend disabling this feature: Options>Preferences>Editing Behavior>Link loop points to time selection. Once/if you have done this, then in order to attain high functionality, I would change the following Mouse Modifier as well: Options>Preferences>Mouse Modifiers>Context: Media Item Bottom Half>Default Action>Marquee select items and time. To operate this script, turn on the new 'Stretch Marker Marquee' toolbar button, select the items and time range by left-click-drag along the bottom half of your media items, and then move any desired Stretch Marker within the range as usual, and watch the rest follow (this also works with preserve-rate modifiers). LAST NOTES: I would highly recommend turning off this feature whenever not in use, as to preserve CPU power and prevent potential Reaper/Computer crashes. Also, this script hinges on the fact that the new Cycle Action will be ID#1. Adjust accordingly. Update: Still working on the Copy/Paste functionality of this script.
