lights not working

Hi all need a little help with some thing? The start of the problem was my marker lights staying on, now that is no longer the problem the car lights dont work at all when i first turn them on. But after a while just the side lights come on but no headlights im baffled, Thought it was the control module so i replaced it but still no joy. Im lead to think that there is not enough power getting to them as at times there is buzzing noise coming from the control module. But not sure its a challenge if anyone could help.

Assuming you have an early S/V40...check the wiring loom under the radiator. Ingress of water can corrode the wires. Hope this helps...

More prominent in earlier models but no harm in checking as the loom is still routed under the radiator. Try to raise up the rad a couple of inches and you'll be able to access the loom from underneath.
