Playback issues driving me CRAZY!!!

i have a dinky little line6 ux1 (basic interface) it plays perfectly on my computer and shows up in reaper i can see movement from the instrument in reaper but i get no playback any suggestions/ideas?? feedback is appreciated

Audio Device prefs should be checked. Master output choice is another (CTRL+ALT+M is the default shortcut to show/hide it in the arrangement). Reaper also mutes the master if the output is clipped by +18 dB by default, so that's worth checking as well to see if you're perhaps feeding it too hot of a signal.

Another thing: are you getting anything through the phones out on the UX1, also have you tried plugging the left and right outs of the UX1 into a monitor amp and speakers? That would narrow things down a it for you. Mine has been a dongle for Line6 Podfarm for ages so I forget exactly how you do this stuff, but it was a decent enough interface. And it works in Win8
