Divx in MP4?

This is a noob question probably but I'll ask it anyway. Xvid, Divx, all of those kind of codecs are all MPEG-4 ASP (MPEG-4 Part 2). So why isn't divx encoded in an MPEG-4 container? Or is it possible to do that, its just that I didn't find the right encoder? And yes I did search. Also one more question. Are there any encoders ONLY for Divx? A divx-dedicated encoder? And yes I did search.

Like what Slitheen said - basically anything like products released by Divx Networks is a start.
