Try increasing or decreasing the buffer size in the playback options menu. Go under Setup.

Honestly to help here, we need LOTS more info (as opposded to next to NONE!) Once you do that, which version of Windows? What interface? What software version?

RE: HW Buffer Size (-9092) Help!!!

Only one hard drive? For this to function correctly you need a separate, dedicated audio drive (NOT a partition on your system drive, either!) A Pentium 4 isn't much "horsepower" for one of these systems, either. No indication of what motherboard/chipset is in use here. Please post a sandra report. Windows users need to provide a Sandra report, as indicated in the Setup and General Troubleshooting thread (information on how to download Sandra and generate the report is included in those threads). The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for Tech Support and other users to assist you - take the time now to document everything you can and you'll save time in the long run.

The Digi 001, 002, and 003 are Audio interfaces for your computer just like th Mbox2, mini, micro, etc... Honestly...If you're running PT 8 and you're getting this error, you may want to read through this forum: bring up your task manager and look at how much CPU usage you're getting when you are just idle in pro tools. The link above seems to highlight a huge issue that not many people knew about before buying PT8!:(
